Our Approach to Sustainability
Choosing to be foam free in floral mechanics is my small approach to sustainability. Traditional floral foam contains non-biodegradable particles that are toxic to the environment and to us if ingested. Floral foam is also generally a one time use product. We use reusable containers and natural supporting structures to promote a more eco-friendly approach to floral design. Working foam free does pose challenges, however, I welcome it as it expands our creative boundary and contributes to a more environmentally friendly floral industry.
